There is no way that Mac could have recovered from his gunshot wound that fast, to be able to climb ladders and do sky-car "acrobatics" just a couple hours later, especially since he'd received no proper medical attention up to that point --- just a simple bandage wouldn't heal him up that easily/quickly.
