Sex & Nudity

  • No nudity lucy in the sky with diamonds may look as if the women are topless but this is just due to how the animation looks they have shirts on, on another none there is a lyric "can i take my friend to bed"
  • No sex or nudity is involved in this film. However, a suggestive lyric "We made love all day long" is used in a musical number.

Violence & Gore

  • The Blue Meanies hurt each other, and try to hurt Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (no specific actors) and the Beatles (no specific actors).


Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A creature smokes a cigar, which then explodes. There are several drug references (including the film's title), but these should go over the heads of most children.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • After The Beatles sing a sad song with an eccentric creature who just helped them, most of the band intend to leave him even as he crying piteously at the empty, lonely life he has. However, Ringo refuses to do so and invites the creature to come with them to a better place.
