This is the second Cool Cat short. For those who don't know, Cool Cat was a lame Looney Tunes character created during the Warner Bros-Seven Arts era when WB animation was in its death throes. They were essentially trying to copy what was working on TV at the time by coming up with a colorful, hip cat character. As with most of these shorts, this one has Cool Cat being chased by his nemesis, big game hunter Colonel Rimfire. This time they both wind up running into a haunted house where they meet a friendly ghost. Who ever heard of such a thing, right? The opening says "And introducing Spooky" but I don't think we ever see him again. Thank Heaven for small mercies. Anyway, it's a crap cartoon by any objective standard. All the Coot Cat shorts are. The animation, music, and writing are subpar even by 1960s TV standards. About ten seconds of thought when into the creation of this short and that's ten seconds more time than you should spend watching it.
