Storyline

Micki's high school friend is engaged to a ventriloquist, Edgar, who has risen to the top of his profession thanks to his dummy, Oscar. However, Edgar and Oscar now have an adversarial relationship, and Micki and Ryan discovers that a cursed item lies at the heart of the dummy's power to speak and move on his own.

Did You Know?

Trivia

Micki says that Edgar proposed to Gabrielle in Chicago, and later Ryan says that he called the police in Chicago. Both of these lines make it clear the series isn't set in Chicago.

Goofs

The victims are described as hacked to pieces, and Bernie's head is cut off. However, the little pocket knife Oscar gives to Edgar and then Travi, and the only weapon they ever use, is barely large enough to kill someone, and is in no way large enough to "hack them to pieces".
