Elizabeth Montgomery, Agnes Moorehead, and Dick York in Bewitched (1964)

Goofs

Bewitched

Edit

Continuity

In early episodes, the daughter's name is spelled "Tabatha" in the credits. In later episodes, the spelling of her name is changed to "Tabitha."

Revealing mistakes

The Astroturf lawn in the rear of the Stephen's home is also the green "carpet" shown inside the home. This is most apparent when there are shots of characters exiting or entering the home through the rear sliding glass door.
In some episodes, thin wires can be seen levitating objects or people.

Plot holes

Throughout the run of the series Darrin frequently reminds Samantha of their marriage vows, "Love, honor, and no witchcraft". In the pilot, Samantha reveals she's a witch on their honeymoon.

Character error

Whenever Samantha says, "Aunt Clara," she pronounces "aunt" like "ant." However, on more than one occasion, Samantha pronounces "aunt" like "ont," when referring to Aunt Hagatha and Aunt Enchantra.
For a powerful witch who can conjure up anything instantly, Endora strangely wore the same one outfit repeatedly throughout the entire series. Even though she is, on a rare occasion, seen wearing other elegant ensembles, Endora would favor the one long, green, long-sleeved dress with a lilac long vest worn over it. It is unclear whether the production was cutting costs here and, if so, why they couldn't simply repeat some of the varied---and less clashingly gaudy--- outfits she had previously worn.
