Trivia

In this episode there's a rare appearance of Sanford Meisner. He's one of the most important acting teachers of the 20th century. There's an acting technique with his name - the Meisner technique. Meisner worked with, and taught, students who became well known, such as James Caan, Steve McQueen, Robert Duvall and Gregory Peck. Just like his character in this episode, Mr Meisner also underwent a laryngectomy. It was one of the last appearances of him, including the short Requiem - directed by Elizabeth Sung, one of his students. Meisner died two years later.
