Fun film to remember old movie performances of very good actors.
"Mario" (Arturo Fernandez), began working as a pianist in a nightclub in Palma de Mallorca, where he meets two women, one former student, and "Clara" (Teresa del Río), who get fall in love him ...
"Bahía de Palma" is a romantic comedy shot in color, with splendid views of the city of Palma de Mallorca, and some outdoor scenes filmed in various places of the city, allowing us to enjoy today with some curiosity that was this beautiful city in the early 60's.
The script of the film is very simple and loose, and the performance of the protagonist great actor Arturo Fernandez is very discreet on the seriousness that puts him in the character, but thanks to small scenes encourage Cassen get the story.
The film has wonderful scenes of the beautiful Elke Sommer (A shot in the dark 1964, The Prize 1963...), and the unforgettable bit actor Jose Maria Tasso ("Muchachas de azul", "Se vende un tranvía," "Los Tramposos", "La Casa de La Troya", "Los Pedigüeños" ...), and of course a great actor like Cassen was unique film in the movie "Placido", with the interesting cameo of Mario Bustos.
