Storyline

A Tom & Jerry cartoon, this time set in ancient Greece. As usual, Tom is fixated on catching and eating Jerry, while Jerry delights in outsmarting and abusing Tom. In addition to the standard hazards that await an unwary cat, this cartoon also features a squadron of heavily armed Greek Hoplites ready to skewer Tom on their spears when he collapses part of the city. Another Deitch disaster.
8 May 2017 | by BA_HarrisonSee all my reviews

It's Greek to Me-ow! is set in ancient Greece, with Tom, who is living in a trash can, trying to catch Jerry, whose mouse-hole is positively palatial. Once again, Deitch's animation is extremely basic, with jerky character movement and sparse backgrounds, and the weak action (not many laughs to be had here) is accompanied by some truly horrible music and sound effects.

Good luck to anyone else brave enough to review the entire T&J catalogue—once you reach this stage in the series, you'll need it!
