Morecambe and Wise - the early days
30 August 2017 | by studioATSee all my reviews

Although best known for their BBC, and to a lesser extent, Thames shows, there is still a lot to like in this early Morecambe and Wise show, as we see the boys in all the usual sort of sketches and musical numbers that we came to know and love.

While it's not the strongest material the double act produced, we can see the evolution of the catchphrases, and spot how the boys started to develop their personas from this show, so it's invaluable viewing for any Morecambe and Wise fan.
