    • Trivia
This is the first Looney Tunes cartoon to debut a number of changes to the opening and closing titles of cartoons in this series, which are similar to changes that first appeared on From Hare to Heir (1960):
      • "The Vitaphone Corp." is replaced by "Warner Bros. Pictures Inc." in the copyright byline.
      • The transition between the series card and cartoon title card on most cartoons changes from a cross-fade to a fade to black.
      • Most cartoons' credits are presented in the Dom Casual font.
      • On the end card, "A Vitagraph Release" appears as an additional byline beneath "A Warner Bros. Cartoon".
    • Goofs
After the Coyote pours about half the bottle of earthquake pills on the ground for the Road Runner to eat, the bottle of pills he is holding shows it is still completely full.
    • Crazy credits
      Road Runner (Speedipus Rex)
    • Alternate versions
In some prints of this cartoon, the scene where Coyote gulps down the entire bottle of earthquake pills is missing. Instead it shows him gulping down one then throwing the bottle away and noticing it doesn't effect Road Runners.
    • Connections
Edited into The Wild Chase (1965)
    • Soundtracks
      Jingle Bells
      Music by James Pierpont

Wile E. Coyote-a study in singlemindedness.
Wile E Coyote is a study in blind perserverance. He pursues one quarry with total fixation and even a failure rate of stunning perfection deters him not a whit. If the concepts of reincarnation and karma are at all valid, then you have to wonder just what horrible sin lies in a past life to cause Wile E. Coyote such agony and misfortune. The only thing I can figure is that he was the first politician in a previous life, possibly a lawyer, (or both) as that is the only thing that would remotely consign him to such a karmic fate. Excellent cartoon. Well worth watching. Most recommended.
