Ultima notte a Warlock

Continuity

In the last "showdown" between Gannon and Blaisedell, there has been a large rain the night before and it soaks the streets. When they meet on the street, and Blaisedell throws his guns into the street, it is so dusty the guns just sink into the sand. Later in that scene, when Blaisedell rides his horse out of town, you can see the streets with wet mud instead of dry dust.

Dusty desert soil does not absorb rainfall well, so water runs down those wagon ruts and away and dust dries out quickly. That rain had nothing to do with the mud in the streets. That was from the water wagon that was seen earlier in the movie dampening the street, on its routine of keeping the dust down.
At the very beginning of the movie, when the man on the wagon sees something in the street and immediately turns the wagon around, one sees several houses built closely together (Cooper Mining Supplies and the Traveler Hotel). In the next shot, only one house is visible with no buildings nearby. Then in the next shot, we are back to the street as before. Clearly a mistake in editing.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

At around 1:12:20, Fonda is made to draw his gun, when he goes to put it back in the holster, he clearly misses the holster and gets it right on the second try. As a gunfighter he was obviously better at getting his gun out of the holster than putting it back.

That's a normal human-type fumble, no more a Continuity error than dropping your car keys and picking them up.

Revealing mistakes

When Gannon talks to Lily about the passing of his mother in Nebraska, he says it was 19 years ago. His mouth movements however do not match the word 'nineteen.' It is dubbed.

Plot holes

Before the shootout with Billy, Morgan sees Calhoun and fires once to stop him, with the second shot heard coming from Calhoun's rifle. All of the other gunshots heard or seen were from the participants of the shootout. After the shootout, someone says Calhoun was shot three times, once in the throat and twice in the chest. Morgan says he aimed all three shots at his chest. He could not have shot him three times since he only fired once.

This is just gunman braggadocio. Bragging and self-aggrandizing are normal behaviour. However, since only three shots were fired in the opening salvo, with two bodies as a result, there is a shooter missing, who had a lucky coincidence of putting the extra two holes in Calhoun simultaneously with the sound of two of the other shots.

Character error

Firearms Protocol: At about 42 minutes, the stage arrives in town after having been held up. Johnny Gannon Richard Widmark runs down the street to see what happened. As he runs, his pistol gradually bounces out of its holster. He has other problems with his pistol. He almost lost it again when running back and forth from Blaisdell Henry Fonda to Billy Frank Gorshin, indicating the thong wasn't in place that keeps it in the holster. And, when demonstrating (01:33:58) your fast draw, do not point your pistol at the only other person in the room.
In an early scene, one of the townspeople clearly calls Deputy Sheriff Thomson "Roy." The characters name according to the deputy's plaque is "Ray" Thomson.
