J'étais chez mon grand-père Forcier sur la rue Dufresne à Montréal et, avec mon père, nous étions complètement fascinés par le film. C'est une oeuvre admirable, plus vraie que vraie, qui n'a d'ailleurs pas été faite avec une Nagra synchrone, mais avec un Mehac. C'est Marcel Carrière qui faisait le son et Gilles Groulx a dû tout synchroniser à la mitaine!
