Sex & Nudity

  • No nudity
  • A lot of women running around in gratuitously gauzy and low-cut clothes, panting and being chased by a fairly-sexualized vampire. Little kids probably won't catch on to all the moaning and panting, but adults likely will.

Violence & Gore

  • To kill a vampire a stake is drives through a heart in one scene it is shown in a shadow but another is shown with blood and all very disturbing
  • restorated dvd includes the full graphic bloody and gruesome death of dracula.
  • There are a few scenes of violence. Dracula as well as other characters' teeth are shown with blood on them, and there are several scenes depicting stakes being hammered into people's hearts, one showing the bloody aftereffect. Very graphic for the era in which this film was released.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Characters smoke cigarettes, but actually less than a lot of movies from the same era.
  • The landlord is seen snorting snuff from a small box.
