Man's best friend is the subject of a series of blackout gags, climaxing with the bogus heroism of a dog who travels across the country for an unexpected purpose.

This documentary-styled cartoon identifies the various breeds of canine, showing the very human behaviors of the French Poodle, the Doberman "Pincher", the "Elvis" hound-dog, a martini-drinking St. Bernard, and the Mexican "Hairless".—Kevin McCorry <mmccorry@nb.sympatico.ca>
