Tall Man Riding (1955)
Larry Madden: [Sniffs the air and moves his head toward Pearlo as he discovers the source of the scent] Nothing changes much. You're even using the same cheap-smellin' toilet water.
Cibo Pearlo: You never did like that, did you?
Larry Madden: It'll never take the place of a bath.
Cibo Pearlo: [referring to Larry] Anyway, watch yourself. He's gonna be gunnin' for you.
The Peso Kid: You know, he should be careful. Someday he's liable to catch me.
Cibo Pearlo: [Seeing him standing at poker table] Hello, Larry.
Larry Madden: Howdy.
Cibo Pearlo: What's it been... good luck or bad since we last saw you?
Larry Madden: Oh, a little of both.
Larry Madden: The man who pulls Tuck Ordway down off of his rawhide throne is gonna be me.
Larry Madden: You forget on thing... a man's pride.
Reva: That's something a woman can't answer.
Larry Madden: If I had to pick a woman who could understand, I'd pick you.
[after a pause]
Larry Madden: What's a girl like you doin' tied in with a dog like Pearlo?
Reva: Sometimes you can get sort of attached to a dog.
Reva: Now what's this all about anyway?
Cibo Pearlo: [Referring to Larry] Sometimes I can't help but feel that in him you see all the things I'm not.
Reva: I never gave you any cause to think that.
Cibo Pearlo: No, you were too smart for that but not smart enough to realize he'd have nothing to do with your sort... but me... well, I always liked leftovers.
