Storyline

Lady, a golden cocker spaniel, meets up with a mongrel dog who calls himself the Tramp. He is obviously from the wrong side of town, but happenings at Lady's home make her decide to travel with him for a while. This turns out to be a bad move, as no dog is above the law. Darling: Oh, Jim, dear. It's the one I was admiring, isn't it? Trimmed with ribbons?
Jim Dear: Well, it *has* a ribbon.
[the box is opened; inside is a puppy wearing a ribbon]
Darling: Oh, how sweet.
Jim Dear: You like her, Darling?
Darling: [hugging the puppy] Oh, I love her. What a perfectly beautiful little Lady.

A CLASSIC
14 December 2003 | by grahamsj3See all my reviews

If this film isn't a classic, I don't know what is! This is a great story about two dogs who fall in love, although they're from different sides of the railroad tracks, so to speak. These dogs act more human than many humans do. It's heartwarming, humorous and just plain clean family entertainment! This is a film that has stood the test of time and passed with flying colors. This is one to BUY and keep! So what are you waiting for? Go buy it!
