important is acting. not the subject, not the level of dust. only the good actors - like tiny shadows, who does extraordinary roles. because, it is not a question of artistic values but only question of memories. Olga Tudorache,Birlic, Beligan, Giugaru, Puiu Călinescu. a splendid cast who gives their entire science to do a nice comedy. sure, the mark of regime is present but this film is a proof for the ability to create freedom like ball of crumbs. and to seduce public with little gestures and delicate grace. it is a good film. and its virtues are the honest work, the huge talent and inspired vision of director. result - it has not age. part of every time, it remains a form of wise resistance to dictatorship in its first years.
