Lincoln's Doctor's Dog
24 May 2019 | by henryhertzhobbitSee all my reviews

So far, this is the only one in the series that I have watched. It just aired on TCM. It is directed by H.C. Potter, and written by William R. Cox. Abraham Lincoln is played by Robert Ryan. Dr. Stone is played by Charles Bickford. The other actors that are in it are Richard Long, Willis Bouchey, Howard Wendell, Johnny Lee, Paul Keast, Mack Williams, John Craven, and Dennis King, Jr. I won't give any other non-actor names. What surprised me the most was the performance of Robert Ryan. He is totally unlike anything else I have watched him doing. Some of the other films I have watched him in are Bad Day at Black Rock, Inferno, and The Dirty Dozen. All of the films I have watched him in he plays a real tough person just like the three films I just mentioned. So I was surprised to see him in a warm-hearted role which was a first for me. I enjoyed the movie Lincoln's Dog's Doctor immensely and look forward to viewing the rest in the series. Just check your TCM schedule to find them.
