Tiger Girl

This is a very entertaining film telling the tale of an extended Russian circus family, with some light romantic intrigue the story focuses on Lena (Lyudmila Kasatkina) who dreams of being a Tiger Tamer and having a thrilling act all of her own . Lena starts out as assistant to a daring motorcycle act accompanying handsome rider Fyodor (Pavel Kadochnikov), she works hard training the beautiful tigers in the hope of performing under the lights of the circus arena. A wonderfully wholesome Soviet circus melodrama highlighted with fabulous performances all-round, it was enchanting Kasatkina's debut. The film opens with a thrilling start, throughout are many circus related acts, and there is some great music.
