- Chasing Tweety all over the rooftops, Sylvester falls off a building and dies. While waiting for his other eight lives, a satanic bulldog goads Sylvester into losing all eight by continuing to chase Tweety into risky situations.
- Sylvester's carnivorious pursuit of Tweety Bird continues, chasing the canary onto the ledge of a tall building. He plummets to the sidewalk below, losing one of his nine "lives"; the spirit descends into Hell, where the puddy tat meets up with a Satanic bulldog. There, the bulldog encourages Sylvester to risk his remaining eight "lives" chasing the bird in the most dangerous of situations. Sylvester loses his second "life" when crushed beneath a steamroller; his third frightened after realizing he chased Tweety into a carnival tunnel (that had a lion's mouth opening); "lives" four through seven while on a shooting gallery; and his eighth just after grabbing the bird on a speeding roller coaster car. The Satanic bulldog reappears and demands Sylvester "go get him"; the puddy tat resists temptation and takes refuge in a seemingly safe bank vault. - Sylvester Cat risks all nine of his lives in his reckless pursuit of Tweety Bird. Each time he "dies", one of his nine spirits goes to Hades.—Kevin McCorry <mmccorry@nb.sympatico.ca>
- Sylvester is chasing Tweety yet again, but this particular chase ends in a morbid manner: Sylvester is killed when he falls from a bridge. His ghost, along with two escalators, appear out of thin air. The only operational escalator leads directly to hell, and Sylvester's ghost rides it down. The judge of hell turns out to be a bulldog, who condemns Sylvester to a fiery pit filled with howling bulldogs. However, since cats have nine lives, the judge decides to get the other eight into hell as well, and implores Sylvester's first life to wait for the others.
Back on Earth, Sylvester wakes up, seemingly okay. He refuses to chase Tweety, not wanting to take any more chances. However, the judge reminds him that he still has eight lives. With this, Sylvester chases Tweety again. This chase ends with Sylvester being run over by a steamroller and losing another life.
Next, Sylvester chases Tweety into an amusement park, where he dies for a third time of fright inside the fun house. He also dies four times from being shot in a shooting gallery, and once from smashing into a wall after standing up in a moving roller coaster. This leaves him with only one more life, which Sylvester decides to preserve for his own good.
Sylvester goes to the Last National Bank, having stocked up on canned fish, milk and cat food, and decides to live his last life in the bank's vault, saying that it's safe enough to stay alive for years. Unfortunately, two incompetent thieves decide to rob the bank that night. They use too much nitro to blow open the vault door, and both the thieves and Sylvester's final life are sent to hell. Iris out.
