While walking through the woods, Bugs Bunny stumbles into the fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel. Seeing the children in serious danger, he decides to become involved and rescue the greedy pair, disguised as a truant officer. However, no good deed goes unpunished as the rather hungry witch decides that a rabbit would be an acceptable substitute ingredient for her dinner. Fortunately, a good deed is its own reward as Bugs uses her vase of magic powder to transform her into a gorgeous female bunny with a feminine voice but Hazel's laugh. As he gets ready to leave with the bunny beauty, Bugs looks at the audience and comments: "Ah sure, I know. But aren't they all witches inside?". Written by
