Though Hungary has been making animation since the 1910s, this was the country's first fully colored theatrical cartoon that wasn't just a short film or a commercial. It was screened alongside the documentary From Blossom Time to Autumn Frost
(1953). This market the beginning of Hungary's first animation "generation", before the golden age of the 60s-80s. See more
