Plot Summary

Donald gets off the bus and heads home hoping to get a good night's sleep. At first, his plans for rest are disturbed by an open window shade which lets light from a flashing sign in. After that problem is dealt with, Donald is kept awake by a persistently dripping faucet. Donald tries to ignore it but after a while, it becomes aggravating to put it mildly. Donald makes several attempts to stop the dripping and finally at least is able to keep it under control via a Rube Goldberg contraption. At this point, Donald receives a call from his water company telling him he hasn't paid his water bill so they're cutting off his water! Written by Matt Yorston

Goofs During the hyperbole sequence where it looks like Donald's entire house is being shaken by a bomb strike, it cuts to a scene with his house on top of the Earth in space, with a night sky and clouds around it. In reality, since there is no air or atmosphere in space, there would never be any sky or clouds, just stars. See more »

Quotes [last lines, Donald stays up all through the night dealing with the drips from the faucet while collecting them in countless sponges until the telephone rings, Donald answers it]
Man on Telephone: Hello? Hello? Mr. Duck?
Donald Duck: [fatigued] Yeah? Uh-huh?
Man on Telephone: You haven't paid your water bill, so we're going to cut off your water.
[somehow, a drip overhears this before hitting the sponge and reverts back to the sink, Donald laughs insanely]
Donald Duck: Cutting off MY water!
[Donald continues laughing hitting himself in the head with the phone and wet sponge before the picture irises out]
