What a waste of time and money this was. Besides being overly long and ponderous, it was completely unbelievable. Jack Nicholson was miscast as the aging love interest (come on - women are falling for this guy who keeps having heart attacks?). The movie tries to be overly cute and only ends up being annoying (there is an endless scene of Keaton crying that destroys any shred of credibility her character has managed to create), and looks like it was pieced together by several writers, none of whom consulted with the other. Frances McDormand is totally wasted... why would an actress of her caliber take on a role like this? This is typical, formula stuff that you'd see on a t.v. sitcom.
