You can't really root for any of the three lead characters in this caper comedy that has fake missionary's daughter Florence Rice who steals the pearls that pilots Leif Erickson and Gordon Jones stole from the oyster beds of Sultana Adele Rowland, and now, to get her to drop the charges against them, they agree to help break up the engagement of Rowland's son Alexander D'Arcy and the smug Rice.

I didn't like Rice in this from the very beginning, blocking the way of Erickson and Jones with her car and ignoring them, yet accepting their help and ripping them off when they realize that the pants clad driver is a woman. She does nothing but cause trouble for them which results with them getting arrested, not that they're without sin either.

Unfunny and absurd, this is a poorly written B programmer that seemed like something more from Monogram than Columbia. Rice, a decent B actress who lead some MGM programmers, gets a truly one dimensional character, while at least her male counterparts are at least amusing. Rowland seems more like someone you'd see in a nosy American neighbor part than an Asian royal. The writer also seems to be confused as to where they are because nobody looks remotely Asian, especially from a country featuring a "Sultana".
