A Wasted Opportunity And A Waste Of The Audience's Time
You can live your entire life, never see this movie, and be certain that you have spent at least 1 hour and 14 minutes better than me.

To see the talents of the amazing Lillia Silvi wasted in this way is a crime. It was far too much to expect her to be able to save this shipwreck. I gave this film 4 stars for her, some good supporting actors, and for the 2 times I laughed.

Even back in 1940 I'm sure that the story portrayed in this movie was old and stale. I want to enjoy a film and I am always willing to suspend disbelief, but I feel insulted that I should be so undervalued.

Don't bother watching this movie and you will be happier for it.
