This is the first full feature film from Arthur Luca and Kitty Macshane following on from their appearance in Stars on Parade.An eccentric millionaire leaves his estate to his family on condition that they take into The home the first person who is found on the street selling his Briggs matches.That person is of course Old Mother Riley.Daughter Kitty is of course also brought along and they make themselves at home.As the months pass Riley becomes more dominating.Kitty is of course romances by a member of the family.Relatives plot to get her out of the house by planting jewels in her bedroom.A burglar friend is caught in possession of the jewels.A criminal trial takes place.Riley takes control of the defence personally and cross examine the witnesses.Riley is of course victorious.Reasonable start to long series.
