    Edit
    • Trivia
This was supposed to have been the first talking picture version of "Hotel Imperial", but clashes between star Marlene Dietrich and Henry Hathaway (over how glamorous her character is supposed to be), and other production difficulties caused the cancellation of the film. It was ultimately made in 1939, as Hotel Imperial (1939), with an entirely different cast.
