Sex & Nudity

  • At one point, Charlie witnesses his wife coming down the stairs with Ollie. Both are laughing and the latter says he "had never been in a position like that before," which leads Charlie to believe they were engaged in monkey business... which they were not, nevertheless, Charlie still accuses Ollie of hitting on his wife.

Violence & Gore

  • Ollie throws a light bulb at Stan's head.
  • Ollie gets stranded atop the store sign when Stan raises the elevator, not knowing the ladder with Ollie on it were on top.

  • Stan, Ollie and Charlie toss mashed potatoes into each others' faces.

  • Charlie trashes Stan and Ollie's store.
  • Stan and Ollie make Charlie fall into a basket of eggs and then dump them on his head.
  • When Stan tries to gentlemanly kiss Mrs. Hall's hand, Charlie kicks him in the rear, making his hat fly off.
