Trivia

Before J.J. Abrams was hired for another Star Wars movie, Rian Johnson was also offered to direct after Colin Trevorrow left, but turned it down as he felt he needed time off between Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017) and his next project, Knives Out (2019). See more »

Goofs

Luke's X-wing is very clearly badly damaged in The Last Jedi, as one of the wing panels is missing, because it's used as the door to Luke's hut. Yet somehow it's perfectly functional in this movie, after being left fully immersed in the sea and unmaintained for ten years. See more »

I regret Disney buying StarWars
30 December 2019 | by marcus-a-callSee all my reviews

I can't call this movie good. I yawned my way through the first half and when it finally started telling a story in the second half, I hated the story they told. I shouldn't be surprised from what they did in the previous movies though.

I just wish they respected the history of the movies and didn't try so hard to outdo everything that came before.
