A lost film - Luise Rainer's second film appearance
3 April 2015 | by bbmtwistSee all my reviews

I have searched for many years for this film.

Even contacting Ms. Rainer's personal friends and assistants.

Although she did have 35 mm prints of some of her films, this one is not among those.

After trying a number of sources, I must conclude that this is a lost film.

If you have any information concerning the existence of the film, please inform Warner Archive.

There are rumors that they are planning to make available her first MGM film, ESCAPADE, on DVD.

The source being the one remaining print she owned, but this will have to wait until her estate is settled.
