Storyline

Rudi, a Berliner banker, travels to Vienna to arrange a marriage with presumably wealthy Lucy that would save him from bankruptcy. Taking the night off, he goes to a theatre where he meets Steffi, and they fall in love. Lucy, in turn, is also wanting to get rid of this marriage, arranged by her family for the same motives, because she is in love with a poor theatre musician. When they meet and find the truth, they will join efforts to overcome problems and win their happiness. English version of Es war einmal ein Walzer, presumed lost. Written by BSK
