Enjoyable bio-romance
25 June 2002 | by nickandrewSee all my reviews

Greta Garbo is once again stunning and alluring as the infamous Mata Hari, a french spy during World War I. Novarro plays a soldier who falls prey to Mata Hari's seduction and deception. Story is rather enjoyable, blending in romance, biography and espionage very well. Watch out for Garbos' exotic dance scene in the beginning! 3 out of 4 stars.
