  • To be truthful: Yes and No... The meaning of it is that is has no meaning. Bunuel insisted that there was no meaning, and the film is an example of how our minds can interpret things with no meaning and give them meaning. Most of it was from Bunuel and Salvador Dali's dreams, but they both made sure that everything in the film would directly oppose what was considered to be normal, acceptable cinema at the time.
