Storyline

Heir to a Balkan throne, Prince Nicholai falls in love with an American vocalist who is touring with an operetta company in Europe. When he makes known his intention to renounce his heritage and marry Mary Lou, his mother has him locked up and orders Mary Lou back to the United States. En route she is "discovered" by a motion picture producer, and she becomes a star. Forced by a revolution to flee their fatherland, the royal family makes its way to America. There Nicholai and Mary Lou are happily reunited when he is selected from a group of extras to play the part of a prince in one of her films.
