    Bitter Harvest
A rather squalid tale of adultery dressed up in Austro-Hungarian finery in which creepy young Hussar Willy Fritsch throws over sweet young country lass Dita Parlo (unrecognisable in long dark ringlets) for a fling with glamorous officer's wife Lil Dagover; neither of them caring how their actions impact on others until all is unbelievably resolved in the last five minutes.
