Disregard Jack-Gardner claim for Eastman House
27 July 2015 | by bbmtwistSee all my reviews

The George Eastman House denies reviewer Jack-Gardner's claim that the first five reels of this film reside in their archives.

It is a rumor that is unfounded in fact.

Considering the stars involved, and the film's Oscar nomination for Cinematography, it is a major contender for non-lost status.

I merely wanted to head off those seeking the film at Eastman House not to bother.

I have to fill ten lines or this warning won't be posted.

Silly rule.

You'd think there would be a separate category for challenging statement made by reviewers.

But there does not seem to be.

Hope this now goes through, having to make up a number of nonsense lines to get it posted.
