The twenty minutes of surviving footage on this title make it look like a better than average series western, complete with thematic links and some of the film making devices of the other Wyler westerns.
Alvord / Acord's fast horse impresses the cowboys and they can't wait to put their money on him in a race with the visiting duo, who use their wagon horse. All is not what it seems however.
The actual race is quite well handled and probably a highlight of the finished film.
Nitrate decomposition disfigures even the surviving footage and that makes the screening even less satisfactory.
