    Tolerance
Two brothers live in harmony near the border with another country. One falls in love with a girl from across the border, causing their father to forbid the marriage. He doesn't care, and goes to the other country. Then war comes between the two nations....

It's a surprisingly strong story about tolerance and against war from a period of rising international tensions; film makers try to find the message that is palatable to their audiences, so Sweden's attempted neutrality may be related to this movie..... as cause and effect. The nations involved in this movie seem to be a bit vague. Everyone seems to be Slavic or perhaps Cossack. In any case, it's a well-produced movie from the period when Sweden was still an international powerhouse in motion pictures.
