One of the few surviving films to feature Harold Lockwood, a now forgotten but once major star of the early silent era who died at the age of 31 in the influenza epidemic of 1918. He makes a capable if unremarkable leading man in this tale of a college baseball star who heads West when his Uncle can no longer afford his college fees. Given the title, this short film reaches a somewhat predictable conclusion, but is engaging enough.
