This subject shows the real nature of the hobo. Being of a sentimental turn, he is impressed by the daughter of a ranch owner and in consequence becomes her and her father's protector against the machinations of several of his type. The owner in gratitude offers him a home and job on the ranch, but work and the hobo never agree, so he steals away to remain ever a "Knight of the Road." Written by Moving Picture World synopsis
