User Reviews

Italian would be bawdy three parter partly from the uneven Corbucci.
11 February 2004 | by MozjoukineSee all my reviews

This piece looks like it was a pot boiling assignment for Sergio Corbucci whose delirious westerns and vigorous Adriano Celantano comedies were high among the joys of Italian movies of the day.

The misleading title leaves you expecting a pasta actioner instead of the three vaguely scandalous anecdotes played by people better known in Italy, framed by action on the music scoring stage. The second episode where director Nani Loy is secretly shooting reality TV through one way mirrors is clumsy - the work of undistinguished veteran Steno? There's a glossy finish and some well shaped women in various stages of undress.
