D.W. Griffith and the Motion Picture Industry
25 November 2003 | by Single-Black-MaleSee all my reviews

This is the year that the motion picture industry officially started, spearheaded by the 33 year old Griffith. He had totaled up over 80 films in this one year, and this film was the last for 1908. In it, you notice how he brings out the 'inner light' from his performers, probing their emotions in the roles that they play.
