Storyline

One morning, the cops find eight dead bodies, gunshot victims, near a farmhouse. They also find a wounded man who tells the story of what happened. He is Alan White (Sir John Hurt), the father of a young woman awaiting a heart transplant. The night before, his wounded son Danny (Nick Moran) has come to him with a tale of a kidnapping gone wrong. Danny, whom Alan hasn't seen for eight years, offers a deal. If Alan will pose as a kidnapping victim, which will lead to his death, Danny will donate his heart for his sister's transplant. If Alan refuses, then Danny and his friends, the "new blood" hired to help with the kidnapping, will die. What will Alan do, and what's really going on here? Written by <jhailey@hotmail.com>

Trivia

After already being hired for the movie, Nick Moran was denied permission to enter Canada for the shoot, because of an old drunk driving conviction. The Canadian consulate told him no one can enter the country with a criminal record. After several weeks of trying to get a waiver for his conviction, he finally got it, and was able to film the movie. See more »

Very good suspence thriller
10 June 2002 | by tool_apcSee all my reviews

I dont agree with other people's comments about this movie, well maybe that they're dumb and dont understand the plot of this movie which is not very hard to understand and very interesting. This movie keeps you in a suspence until the end and u feel good at the same time when you're shocked. Excellent acting, casting and dialogs, its worth a watch. i'll give it 8/10
