- A WWI fighter pilot returns to his former job as a railroad detective, and must recover a satchel filled with $25,000 of stolen payroll, locate a missing employee, and capture the gang of thieves responsible.
- Filmed in Oklahoma by the Norman Film Manufacturing Company, this all-black melodrama features the eternal triangle of two friends in love with the same girl. The men work for rival railroad companies engaged in a bitter fight over a valuable government mail contract. To decide the matter, a race is organized between the two companies, the winner also claiming the girl. According to a contemporary account, one million dollars worth of railroad equipment and an 80,000 dollar train wreck were used in the film, which stars Jack Austin and Louise Dunbar.
- A nere-do-well man, a beautiful girl, and her one-legged body-guard/family servant are the sole survivors---they think---of a ship wreck and make it to a uninhabited south-seas island. The influence of the girl brings about a reformation of the man in this version of Eden...until three sailors, also survivors, show up, and have designs on the girl. Then a pirates' treasure chest is discovered buried on the beach, and matters become even more tense...and violent.
- To rid the range of a gang of outlaws that are rustling cattle and robbing the banks and stagecoaches, cowhand Bob Calem, working on the gang-leader's superstitions, dons a skeleton-costume to strike fear into the gang.
- Filmed entirely in the area of Tatums, Oklahoma, an all-black town: Oil has been discovered on the range-land nears Tatus, and all ranching had been abandoned to the drilling of wildcat oil-wells. Mart Ashton, owner of the Circle Bar Ranch, has also caught Black Gold Fever to the extent of using all his cash and selling his large herd of cattle to finance the cost of a drilling-rig and crew. On an adjoining tract, the Ohio Company brings in a well and Ashton is put in the position of drilling an off-set well within thirty days or lose all rights to drill on his own land. However, he has ran out of money and his driller, Pete Barkley, is scheming with Walter Wonder, cashier of the Ranchman's National Bank, to delay the drilling. He borrows the needed money from the bank, but Wonder accuses him of stealing it, and the U. S. Marshal jails him. His ranch foreman, Ace Brand, knows he is innocent but is unable to prove it. With no crew and only seven days left to bring in the well, it is up to Ace, "Peg" Reynolds, a one-legged cowboy, and Alice Anderson, Ace's sweetheart, to bring in the well.
- The disappearance of $25,000 and its Courier, sets in motion a mystery, that concludes with an exciting and hair-raising aerial chase.
- A collection of shots showing the acts of the 101 Ranch Wild West Show.
