Eppo, a free spirited 'turfsteker' and his 'bon sauvage' band of misfit friends are forced to battle the forces of evil , when a devil worshipping corporate conglomerate take-over of their idyllic community in South East Drenthe (Zuid Oost Drenthe - Hence the title Z.O.D.), slowly transforms their beautiful lands into an industrial wasteland. This all starts when a large underground deposit of Tellurian Energy is discovered beneath the lands they live on. An action filled, comedic view on the life and habitat of the South East Drenthians and a celebration of their unique characters, ways of life and habitat of this small piece of undiscovered paradise.
