In many ways this trilogy captures her authorship; the commitment to society, the love of nature, the complex characters and the sense that people, deeds and time are always endlessly and intrinsically connected.

Systersonen Manuel Fernández Montesinos skildrar vad som hände på familjens gård i Granada dagarna före mordet. I filmen medverkar också bl. a. Salvador Dalí syster Ana María som hörde till vänkretsen, Lorca barnsköterska Carmen Ramos och poeten Vicente Aleixandre, en annan nära vän till Lorca. För översättningen av de dikter som förekommer i programmet svarar Artur Lundkvist. Per Myrberg läser speakertexten. Regissören Humberto López y Guerra är fostrad i kubansk filmtradition. Manuskriptet har han skrivit tillsammans med Lutfi Öskök. Kubanen Ramón F. Suárez har hållit i filmkameran. Så länge svensk television kan medverka till att sådana här unika insatser blir gjorda, är läget i alla fall inte alldeles hopphöst säger chefen för TV 1:s kulturredaktion, Göran Bengtson.
