These regions, different in their cultural practices and activities, are united by a particular sound, the traditional chirimías. In the search for these Cauca rhythms, we approach the different cultural contexts and traditions of indigenous, mestizo and Afro peoples, beginning a journey where music opens the doors to all the geographical, environmental and cultural diversity of Cauca. In each of the three chapters of the series, we will get to know a magical place in Cauca where its inhabitants, stories and tours will allow us to visit unique landscapes and cultures that are always framed in the search for a common factor that unites these territories: the Chirimía. To the rhythm of flutes and drums we will walk through these territories discovering the majesty of volcanoes, rivers, lagoons and the sea, but also the greatness of the Cauca people, the traditions of the communities, the cuisines and the popular cultures.
