- In this bittersweet portrait of a vanishing rural way of life, Dalia travels to Piedmont to care for her aging grandfather Igor, an expert forager. Armed with his loyal dog Birba, she hunts for a prizewinning truffle to save his home.
- At the age of 20, I felt my life was a book of blank pages waiting to be written. I felt invincible and perhaps, in some ways, I was. I savored every moment to the fullest and was never in need of anything. Inspired by the mood of any given day, I would ride my motorcycle far and wide. Women loved me, and the feeling was mutual. And then there was basketball. - I was a rock star, with long flowing hair and a jump shot that made even the greatest of rivals seem like lesser gods in comparison--including the inimitable Dr J. When the crowd went wild at my umpteenth basket, I felt like I was on top of the world, where no one would ever let me down. But it's true, as John Lennon once said, that life is something that happens when you're busy planning something else. Every time you shoot the ball, no matter how high you jump, sooner or later gravity brings you down hard on your feet, and sometimes it's a crooked landing.
- A film about fear and perception. In a World where even reality seems to be alterable, how do we recognize real monsters from fake ones?
- 100.000 movies, 200 million miles of film , one man.
- June the Second, 1946. Italy decides between Republic and Monarchy. In a little mountain village, Aida, an eighty years old woman, who lives alone in her small house, goes to the polling station; she never thought that in his long life, she would have had the chance put a cross on a voting card. While approaching the cabin separated from the rest with a jute curtain, she remembers all the battles she fought to affirm her right to being considered the same way as the men. All around, the long line of people waiting to vote draws a fresco that tells us about a divided country, wooden, but also pushed forward by a deep desire of changing.
