Arun digs into this dark secret in Bikash's life which is liked to an accident of a colleague, Ranjan, due to negligence of Bikash. This was a life-changing event for Bikash. How the accident has completely changed Bikash elevates Arun's respect for Bikash. In his last speech during his farewell Bikash says he does not need any gifts from his colleges. He only wishes everyone follows the safety measures so no other accident happens in the factory. There is a safety tree in the factory; for each day without an accident, a green leaf is added to the tree. For a day with an accident, a blue leaf is added to the tree. For a day with a fatal accident, a red leaf is added to the tree. Bikash says he wishes to see the safety tree with all green leaves every month. That is the only gift he wants from his colleagues.
